Yate | Cmacapps

Tag and organize your audio files.

Yate was developed for people who want complete control over their tagging experience.  The application was designed from the ground up for Mac users. It is a 100% Cocoa written application and uses its own tagging library. Yate will tag aiff, dff, dsf, flac, m4a, m4b, mp2, mp3, mp4, ogg opus, ogg vorbus, stem.mp4 and wav audio files. Yate also supports m4v and mp4 video files.

Yate has a long list of features, including an innovative scripting system called actions. The app also supports integration with AcousticBrainz, AcousticID, Beatport, Discogs, iTunes, MusicBrainz and The Movie Database (TMDb).

What’s New in Yate

Bug Fixes:
  • Regression: The FLAC mapping for Involved People List Item was not appearing in the list of available fields.
  • When importing a Custom Panel: if a custom field was on the panel and its definition only differed from a existing custom field by index, the panel was not correctly adjusted to reference the existing field.

  • Yate supports Macs running OS 10.9 or later.
